ANTI-SEX TRAFFICKING CAMPAIGN

NATIONAL CENTER FOR CIVIL &  HUMAN RIGHTS

THE DISRUPTIVE POWER OF UNFLINCHING TRUTH

Breaking the Silence

Atlanta was the number one hub for sex trafficking in the United States, yet no one talked about it. The city hid behind soft language and euphemisms. While most agencies would have played it safe with gentle awareness ads, I did the exact opposite. Our strategy team identified that only a gut punch would break the civic denial. I led a campaign designed to completely refuse the status quo. We did not want to raise eyebrows. We wanted to force a reckoning.

Haunting Visuals and Unapologetic Truth

To visually represent the horrific reality, I commissioned a Swedish dollmaker to create haunting, hollow-eyed visuals to stand in for the victims. I wrote the headlines that directly confronted THE BUYER, not the victim. Operating with a zero-dollar budget, I pitched and successfully secured 25 high-visibility billboards and total transit saturation across MARTA through donated media.

Igniting Action and Saving Lives

To amplify the message, I galvanized a powerful coalition of survivors, governors, and celebrities. The results were immediate and undeniable. The campaign was directly cited in the Georgia Governor's public address and ran right alongside the largest trafficking bust in Atlanta's history. We proved that when you stop softening reality, you start saving lives.

The Results

  • 200+ children were rescued during the run of the campaign.

  • $0 media budget miraculously converted into 25+ billboards and total MARTA transit saturation.

  • Millions of unpaid impressions generated through earned media and celebrity alliances.

  • Political Impact achieved with direct acknowledgment in the public address of the Georgia Governor.
